Hello September!

Well, hello hello! Welcome to the first official post of The Wine Chronicles! I'm very excited about this, and I hope you are too. I've wanted to get back to blogging and writing for a long time now, but I just haven't gotten around to do it until now.  I feel like writing is just something you have to dive back into, but I've never been someone to do that.  I always just dip my toes in the water and wade in until I'm comfortable enough.  I feel like writing can be a little bit of both, though, right?  You can write a little here, write a little there, but you gotta just jump in and fully submerge yourself in it.  In the words of Shia LaBeouf, "Just do it."

So a little about this blog:  This will be a space where I can write about my life, about thoughts I have lately, until I find a niche for myself (if I will ever have one?).  In other words, expect there to be a lot of everything, if you want to stick around for the long haul.  I have a lot of ideas and want to explore them all.

I am so excited for fall to soon start; I've grown tired of all the heat and humidity of summertime.  Sweaters and boots and hot drinks are calling my name for sure.  I'm not going to deny it--fall is my favorite season, like pretty much every other girl, but it's honestly the best season.  The warmth of summer still lingers for a while, but it'll grow cool enough where you're not drowning in your own sweat or freezing to death.  The air is crisper.  It's a proven fact, honestly. Okay, probably not, but it's something that most people just accept.  And I'm going to say it, so prepare yourself: pumpkin spice lattes are coming back.  Not gonna lie, PSL's are. My. Jam.  It's a guilty pleasure I'm not actually guilty of admitting to.

September is off to a good start for me.  Tonight, I'm going to an after party hosted by Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa, whaaaaaat?!  My boyfriend works in the events industry and he managed to get us on the guest list. I am beyond excited, you guys.  Hopefully I'll be able to catch a glimpse of Snoop or Wiz while I'm there.  Expect a blog post about that tomorrow!  Other fun events I'm looking forward to this month are a much needed girls time brunch in a couple weeks with friends and a cocktail party hosted by the Independent Book Publishers Association later this month.  I hope the rest of September brings more great things my way!
