September Birchbox Review - Are they time-saving?

With just a few days left of September, I finally got this month's Birchbox in time for the first day of Fall!  This month, Birchbox is jumping into multitasking mode, and wants subscribers to know that all these items are versatile and time-saving, making our lives easier.  I was definitely excited to try out these products, hoping I would find a new monthly favorite, and I must say, the Milk Makeup Ubame Mascara, which I picked myself from the brand's three September choices, surprised me the most! It is definitely up there on my favorites list!

Beautiful Nutrition || Lemon Rise
I think this definitely lives up to the "multitasker" name.  On the bottle, it lists everything the product does:  adds shine, seals cuticles, maintains a healthy scalp, prevents frizz, boots volume, and seals in moisture.  It's recommended that you only use this once or twice a week, and after first using it, I can say that it's working since my hair does look more moisturized and looks more voluminous than usual. Plus, it smells amazing!  I think I could get a good three to four uses out of this bottle, so I'm eager to see if it works better over time.

derma e® || Microdermabrasion Scrub
This product is a Dead Sea salt scrub that gives you clear and radiant skin in just a few minutes.  I think it has a nice smell to it, and my face definitely felt clearer and softer after using it; however, it did sting a little bit when I put it on.  Because I did massage it in gently like the instructions requested, I think ultimately my skin is just sensitive right now, which makes sense because it is getting cooler and the season is changing.

Klorane || Waterproof Eye Make-Up Remover with Soothing Cornflower
I was excited to find out that I had another Klorane product in my Birchbox this month because a few months ago, I received their dry shampoo with oat milk, and I thought it was amazing--honestly one of the best dry shampoos I've ever used.  This definitely has a nice smell to it, thanks to the cornflower, and it works wonders when taking off heavy makeup! Klorane is at it again with a great product.

Milk Makeup || Ubame Mascara
Birchbox teamed up with Milk Makeup this month, so subscribers had the choice to pick between three of the brand's products:  a highlighter, a lip/cheek tint, or mascara.  I went with the mascara since I love me some great lashes.  All I've got to say is dayummm because this mascara blew me away when I applied it.  I had lashes for days!  Even though I did curl them before (and after, I will admit) applying this mascara, it still shaped my lashes so fabulously.  It didn't clump at all, and the shape of my lashes held for the rest of the night.  I think it's because the triple-ball shape of the wand gives your lashes that added lift.  This is honestly the best product out of the eight in this box, and I absolutely love it!

Vera Bradley Fragrances || Vanilla Sea Salt Eau de Toilette and Vanilla Sea Salt Body Lotion
I didn't know that Vera Bradley did fragrances now, but I also don't keep up with that company.  I was very surprised how much I liked that scent because I was a little hesitant at first.  The vanilla is definitely stronger than the sea salt, I would say.  There's nothing spectacular about the lotion, but I love beauty products like this so I'll never say no to one!  I was a little hesitant about the perfume too because you hear that all perfumes smell different on other people and I always feel like I end up smelling like play-doh whenever I wear something vanilla-scented.  I asked my boyfriend what he thought of the perfume on me, and he likes it, so I guess it works!

Oribe || Côte d'Azur Replenishing Body Wash & Restorative Body Créme
These are very natural and soothing products.  The body wash lathered up super quickly and definitely felt like a quality body wash.  I put on the body lotion almost immediately after I got out of the shower to lock in the moisture, and while it did make my skin soft, it didn't do much to soften up the places where the skin is most dry like my elbows.  Overall, I say these are great products.  Plus, they're vegan-, cruelty-, and gluten-free!

These are all great time-saving "multitaskers," and as always, I'm very happy with the products in my Birchbox.  I'm so excited to use them this upcoming month! Birchbox is such a great way to try new beauty products without the worry of spending a lot of money on something that may not work well for you.  It tailors just to you, so every box is personalized exactly to your needs.  If you're interested in signing up (one box is just $10!), click here!
