First, they started the event with a clip of Carpool Karaoke with James Corden and Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple. Pharrell made a guest appearance. James, as always his goofy self, rocked a pair of these stunner shades.
Once the event started, Cook went over some general updates with the company, starting with Apple Music. If any of you are sad you can't go to the Apple Music Festival in London that's coming up, don't worry because you can stream it for free on any Apple device. For all you Mario fans out there, Cook announced that Mario will be coming to the app store in time for the holidays this year! A new game called Super Mario Run will be launched later this year and it has some great perks: you can easily play this game one-handed, and with a new battle mode called Toad Rally, you can choose opponents from around the world to beat their high score. In regards to education, Apple is going to continue their involvement with education with ConnectED, which is a national initiative to bring technology to schools. Apple is going to continue to donate products to schools as well as launch a program called Everyone Can Code, where they teach students how to code in an easy and fun way.
Now comes the fun stuff, folks!
With the new watchOS 3 comes improvements like better gaming apps, a 911 button on the side of the watch, fitness apps, and the ability to write a quick message on the screen. You heard me, you can write on your watch!
And to all the Pokemon fans out there, Pokemon Go is coming to the watch! It's really fitness-inspired because it shows you how far you need to walk to hatch an egg as well as when you end your workout, the app gives you a summary of the items collected, kilometers walked, and calories burned. CEO of Niantic Jeff Williams said that with this new watch app, it will take the focus away from the screen and more on your surroundings.

The new iPhones will come in the classic colors like silver, gold, rose, gold, and black, but will also come in the new jet black color. All new iPhones will have increased storage (32GB, 128 GB, 256GB) so that will let us take all the selfies and use all the apps of our wildest dreams. Apple is also going to upgrade the iPhone 6 to 32GB and 128GB, which makes me very happy. Lastly, the iPhone 7 will be sold for $649 and the iPhone 7+ for $749. Orders start in two days, the phones will be available September 16, iOS 10 available September 13, and the new AirPods will be available in late October for $159.
